Jim Kramer

VP of People & Culture

Jim Kramer spent his early career working up to the position of HR Director for the country jail system in Nashville, Tennessee. During this time, he completed his master’s degree in Industrial & Organizational Psychology and taught night classes as an adjunct instructor for MBA students at Belmont University. Jim’s government career continued to progress, culminating in the role of Deputy Director of HR for the Davidson County government. Once Jim had enough of government work, he accepted an opportunity with Shamrock Foods Company in 2015, relocating his family to Phoenix, AZ. After six years helping reimagine their HR operation, he sought another challenge. He was hired by Harvest Health & Recreation to run HR and became the head of HR for Trulieve upon Harvest’s acquisition.

Jim has been married for 31 years to a woman who grew up in eastern Michigan. He has completed marathons in 48 states and should knock out the last two this year. He enjoys traveling, eating out (generally places that would be featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives), and attending the theater (movies and plays). He also changes his NFL allegiance to the local team, so Go Lions!
